The Ultima 31 Series can be manufactured to 3-phase or single-phase input with single-phase output in double-conversion online topology with PWM transformer-less technology. DSP-controlled technology and active power factor correction for all phases optimizes power efficiency at a lower cost while smart dual input function supports automatic switching between various inputs to protect equipment from input current harmonics. This series allows for the expansion of the UPS reliance with a parallel-redundant setup up to 3 units (N+X) or a parallel-capacity system (N) to increase overall capacity up to 3 units for 30kVA capacity. |

Main Features True Online Double-Conversion Topology True online double-conversion topology for zero transfer time from Line Mode to Battery Mode in case of a power disturbance prevents malfunction of mission-critical equipment. DSP Controlled Technology DSP (digital signal processor) controlled technology for high reliability, accuracy, and efficiency. APFC in all Phases APFC (active power factor correction) improves the power factor and power quality by reducing the load on the electrical system while improving energy efficiency and reducing power loss. By having APFC in all phases, the UPS is able to deliver reliable power protection. 1.0 Power Factor A 1.0 power factor rating is the ideal rating for UPS and offers the most efficient loading of the power supply. It maximizes energy efficiency to cut down on energy cost and energy loss by reducing the load on transformers and distribution equipment. Maintenance Bypass Switch (MBS) Safely service the UPS while keeping connected equipment powered for zero downtime with the built-in MBS. 1A to 12A Adjustable Battery Charger Adjust the battery charger based on the number of batteries in the UPS for faster recharge times. EMI / RFI Filter EMI / RFI filter suppresses electromagnetic noise and radio frequency interference transmitted from AC power. Emergency Power Off (EPO) Tab Instantly shut off the UPS and prevent the UPS from supplying power in the event of an emergency. Dual Input Hardwire the primary input power with Mains Input and secondary power source to Bypass Input for redundant power supply. If connected to an ATS, the Main Input will switch over to battery power while the secondary power source starts up if the Mains Input power fails or UPS is damaged. Once the secondary power source (usually generator) starts up to power the UPS, the UPS will run on generator power until the main power supply returns. If for some reason the secondary power does not start up, connected equipment will continue to run on battery power. NOTE: Requires ATS (automatic transfer switch) for the UPS to automatically switch between the two input power sources. 3-Stage Smart Battery Charging System This system uses CCCV (constant current constant voltage) battery charging method to maximize battery performance and lifespan with an intelligent, multi-stage battery charging system to auto-sense the optimal battery charging performance based on factors such as. battery level, battery voltage, and temperature. CCCV charges batteries in three stages: constant-current, constant-voltage, and float. In constant-current stage, the battery charges at a constant current that is also the fastest charging time before moving onto constant-voltage charging stage when the system detects the required battery voltage has been achieved. In constant-voltage stage, the charge current decreases and battery is charged based on a constant voltage to prevent overcharging the battery. When battery capacity is almost full, the charging system moves to a float stage. Float stage charges the battery at a trickle charge, charging just enough to maintain a full charge such as compensating for any loss caused by self-discharge. |
50/60Hz Frequency Converter Mode Select 50Hz or 60Hz output frequency best suited for connected equipment. It is especially helpful when used to help regulate the speed of motorized equipment to match the frequency. NOTE: If input frequency is 60Hz, setting the UPS output frequency to 50Hz will derate the UPS capacity by 40%. N+X or N Parallel Option (up to 3) This series allows for the expansion of the UPS reliance with a parallel-redundant setup up to 3 units (N+X) or a parallel-capacity system (N) to increase overall capacity up to 3 units for 30kVA capacity. Cold Start Capable Turn on the UPS even without utility power as long as there is sufficient battery power. 5-inch Touchscreen LCD Large, easy-to-read LCD screen shows real-time status information of your UPS power conditions including the voltages, capacity level, battery level, faults, event logs, settings, and more. Intelligent Slot For use with a network management card to remotely monitor and control the UPS from a web browser. Power Management Software Monitor and control the UPS from your computer with the included user-friendly software to automate computer shutdown, monitor battery levels, set UPS parameters, receive alerts of abnormalities, and more. 3/1 & 1/1 Input Phase Options This series can be manufactured to 3-phase or single-phase input and single-phase output. Generator Compatible This UPS is compatible with inverter generators using electronic governors. Inverter generators produce pure sine wave for better performance and "cleaner" power. Electronic governors uses an electronic control system that detects changes in the load and can adjust the throttle to control the engine and generator control functions for output power that is reliable and constant under variable loads. Optional Accessories (Not Included) • Network Management Card - For remote power monitoring. See model number #SNMP3-2 for compatibility with this UPS series. • Parallel Cable - Parallel up to 3 units for parallel redundancy. 1 x parallel cable required per UPS set. Warranty 1-year equipment warranty and 1-year battery warranty. See Terms and Conditions, and Warranty Policy pages for additional information. |
