The Gamma 33 AVR is a 3-phase Wye or Delta AVR using electronic SCR with class H CRGO toroidal type transformer, electronic SCR, and DSP-controlled technology for high reliability and efficiency, ultra-fast response time, minimal voltage drops, low energy loss, low operating temperature, and other benefits that demand a voltage regulator that can handle large voltages and currents with authentic zero-crossing control to minimize switching-related noise. SCR control technology compensates for voltage drops and phase changes while enhancing stability by suppressing surges and filtering EMI/RFI noise. DSP-controlled technology and metering IC control technology offer fast AC sampling to effectively calibrate values for a stable, well-regulated narrow output voltage to reduce equipment failure from unregulated voltage. THD is less than 1%, minimizing any wave form distortion by maintaining low peak currents, operating temperature, core loss, and electromagnetic emissions. Each phase is independently regulated to ensure balance and stability of the output. This is especially important when used in settings where imbalances can damage equipment, reduce efficiency, and cause increased downtime. This AVR was designed with an insulated transformer, SCR modules, CPU control core, instant voltage stabilizing technology, and safety protection components for a non-contact voltage stabilizer that is safe, highly efficient, and conserves energy - best suited in environments with equipment with a large net voltage fluctuation, such as those often found in industrial and commercial use.

Main Features
Electronic SCR
Electronic SCR (silicon-controlled rectifier) controls and processes large voltages, currents, and power with minimal voltage drop and ultra-fast response time (≤60ms).

Class H Transformer
The transformer is dry type class H with insulation designed to handle a maximum hot spot temperature or average winding temperature rise of 180°C when ambient temperature is 40°C maximum. The insulation rating ensures the transformer works safely and reliability even in high operating temperature environments or extended overload capacity situations while protecting against electric shock by suppressing electric noise in sensitive devices.

Compensated Transformer
Transformer compensation with turn ratio adjusts to compensate for voltage drops and phase changes while enhancing stability by suppressing surges and filtering EMI/RFI noise.

Zero-Crossing Control
A comparator monitors zero crossing of AC signals for noise production at the switch point to delay switch time if needed to complete a full sinusoidal cycle to decrease the likelihood of high-frequency noise, harmful to motorized or sensitive electronics.

Extended Overload Capacity
The H-grade transformer allows the AVR to continue to perform well under instant overload and extended overload situations. Even if the AVR reaches over 100% capacity due to sudden in-rush voltage the AVR will continue to run for 10 milliseconds under 10 times the current and 1 minute for 3 times the current without damage to the AVR.

DSP Controlled Technology
DSP (digital signal processor) controlled technology for high reliability, accuracy, and efficiency. The response time for the Gamma AVR is under 40 milliseconds.

THD ≤1%
Total harmonic distortion (THD) ≤1% minimizes waveform distortion by maintaining low peak currents, operating temperature, core loss, and electromagnetic emissions.

Precise Output Voltage Regulation
A precise output voltage is most important for sensitive electronic equipment such as ones that require calibration.

CRGO Toroidal Isolation Transformer
CRGO (cold rolled grain oriented) laminated steel toroidal core transformer increases the electrical resistivity of the core to reduce eddy current loss and increase corrosion resistance, thereby improving overall efficiency. The transformer is wound around a donut-shaped ferromagnetic core to create two magnetically coupled coils referred to as a primary coil and a secondary coil. When current flows through the primary, a negative magnetic field is created which drops when the voltage drops to near zero. As the output voltage of the primary coil drops to near zero, the secondary coil's magnetic field absorbs the current from the primary coil. Additional benefits from this type of transformer include:

Solid-State Transformer for Maintenance-Free Design
Designed without carbon brush so there is no abrasion, contact, spark, or mechanical movement and failure.

LCD Screen
See real-time status information from the LCD. The LCD will show: input / output voltage and current measurements; overload, over-voltage, and under-voltage indicators; and power mode.

From the LCD panel, set over-voltage, under-voltage, and overcurrent range, output voltage range, bypass mode, and two output state modes (set all three phases as a group or each phase separately for independent regulation).

• Wide Input Voltage Range - Custom order input voltage range for better performance in extremely unstable voltage facilities. Multiple options range from +/-25% up to +/-50% input voltage range.

• Phase Failure Protection – Phase protector protects connected load in the event of phase failure.
• Manual Bypass Switch (MBS) – Add a manual bypass switch / breaker for output isolation and bypass function to prevent inadvertent misoperation.
