The Smart Guard is a pure sine wave UPS with CRGO transformer for optimal energy transfer and minimal energy loss for reliable, high-quality performance when converting from DC power to AC power. The wide input voltage range and output frequency auto-adjust feature allows the UPS to adapt to various power supply conditions, including use with generators where power conditions can fluctuate greatly. Built-in protection mechanisms such as over discharge, overcharge, overload, and short circuit protections prolong the lifespan of the UPS and connected equipment for peace of mind. Whether you need to charge small electronics or home appliances, this UPS can adapt to different power conditions. |

Main Features Outlets These outlets supply power to connected equipment. If a battery is installed with the UPS the UPS will switch over to battery power to supply power to these outlets when mains input power is not sufficient. Quantity of outlets will vary by country of use. Note: Battery (not included) required for battery backup function. DC to AC Power Converter Converts DC (direct current) power to AC (alternating current) power for use with AC powered electronics. Pure Sine Wave Output Best waveform for sensitive electronics. Benefits include: • Smoother waveform • Best for sensitive equipment • Higher quality than a modified sine wave • Maintains voltage at a safe level • Motors run at their intended speed and with less heat • Equipment runs with less noise • IT equipment lasts longer • Low harmonic distortion Wide Input Voltage Range Minimizes the need to switch over to battery power and frequency of battery charge, and recharges cycles by correcting extreme voltage distortion for higher system reliability. CRGO Toroidal Transformer CRGO (cold rolled grain oriented) laminated steel toroidal core transformer increases the electrical resistivity of the core to reduce eddy current loss and increase corrosion resistance, thereby improving overall efficiency. The transformer is wound around a donut-shaped ferromagnetic core to create two magnetically coupled coils referred to as a primary coil and a secondary coil. When current flows through the primary, a negative magnetic field is created which drops when the voltage drops to near zero. As the output voltage of the primary coil drops to near zero, the secondary coil's magnetic field absorbs the current from the primary coil. Additional benefits from this type of transformer include: • High-efficiency transformer • Low energy loss / low stray magnetic field • Low electromagnetic noise • Low operating temperature • Lightweight core • Low off-load losses • Longer lifespan of connected equipment • Suitable for sensitive electronics Automatic Frequency Tracking (AFT) Built-in sensors automatically adjust the output frequency to match the input frequency to ensure compatibility and smooth operation with different power sources. It is especially useful if the UPS is used with generators, where frequency fluctuations are common. Synchronizing the output frequency to the input frequency stabilizes and optimizes performance and efficiency of connected devices by ensuring equipment, especially motorized equipment, run at their intended frequency ranges. Microprocessor-Controlled Operation Guarantees high reliability of the system by having all functions of the unit controlled and monitored by a microprocessor. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) Automatically boosts or bucks minor voltage irregularities. By regulating the output voltage instead of cutting off power to connected electronics or from allowing these power disturbances from passing to connected electronics, voltage regulation feature prolongs the lifespan and protects connected equipment against spikes, surges, brownouts, minor overvoltages, and under voltages. 10A / 15A Adjustable Battery Charger Select between 10A or 15A battery charging current for faster battery recharge time depending on the battery capacity connected to the UPS. This is especially useful if the battery is used frequently. Smart Battery Management Maximize battery performance and lifespan with an intelligent, multi-stage battery charging system to auto-sense the optimal battery charging performance based on battery levels. Short-Circuit Protection An essential safety feature that quick trips the circuit breaker or fuse, therefore isolating current path to prevent damage, reduce fire hazards, electrical shock, and ensure the safe operation of the system when an unintended electrical path is created, resulting in excess current flow. |
Low Unloading Current & Audible Noise Low unloading current improves energy efficiency by minimizing power consumption when no load is connected and during idle periods. This is crucial for preserving battery life by preventing unnecessary battery drain so that sufficient capacity is available when battery power is needed. By keeping unloading current low, audible noise is also reduced due to less heat generated and therefore less noise from reduced fan use for cooling. High-Efficiency Inverter Converts DC to AC power with minimal energy loss and has an efficient thermal management which includes heat dissipation and cooling systems to manage any rising temperatures for optimal system operation. Low Standby Current Optimizes energy consumption, reduces power loss, improves overall efficiency, decreases standby power consumption, and helps extend the lifespan of any connected batteries. The overall benefit also includes lower electricity bills. Integrated Battery Cables with O-Ring Terminals Built-in 40 cm battery cables with O-ring terminals for secure attachment to the battery terminals. Option to switch to ANEN connector for custom orders. Overload Protection Protects the system from an overload. Cold Start Capable Turn on the system even without utility or solar power as long as there is sufficient battery power. Off-Mode Charging The internal charger continues charging the internal batteries when powered off as long as the unit is plugged into an AC mains wall socket.
